This week I had to make a tough but necessary decision and announcement in my private facebook group, The Weekly Uplift. And to be honest I’m really glad it’s nowhere near April 1st because I can imagine you saying “Haaa, April Fools Rochelle! Suckaaa!’
We’re shutting down the facebook group and… pretty much saying good bye to fitness.
I’ll just come out and say it: If you’re following me solely for fitness and weight loss support and nothing else, then you’re gonna have to dig through this website and search for the stuff you need.
Cause things. is. changing.
Things will shift away from strictly fitness and accountability and into lifestyle happiness and achievement. I’ve spent two years blogging about weight loss and combing the internet for resources on fitness and feel like I’ve learned everything I want to learn about. There are many sides of my life that I love SO much and I want to share them all with the world, too.
My new “professional” venture will be in tech services. Mostly drafting/drawing for construction and engineering firms supplemented with helping entrepreneurs set up their online tools. I tested out this idea this week and made my first $250. Not a lot to some people, but extremely meaningful for me!
Also, I’ll be re-branding my website and writing about the zillions of things I’m passionate about. Everything from patience, time management, de-cluttering, shopping, nail art, breaking up, quitting crappy jobs, cats, and suggestions are always welcome. Since you’re on my mailing list, I’ll be sending you teeny updates when a new blog post is up.
I love you and really appreciate the support you’ve given me over the years. It doesn’t stop here, of course. If you’re still in for the journey, I’ll see you soon with the next update.
But if we’re parting ways now then know this:
I believe in you. Always believe in yourself. Start NOW and go for it.
Keep in touch!
